War Remnants Museum

Posted by
Stephen Skok (ASCOT VALE, Australia) on 20 March 2012 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

Originally named, The House for Displaying War Crimes of American Imperialism and the Puppet Government of South Vietnam.

This museum was set up in 1975 at the end of the war, known locally as the American War, not the Vietnam War as it is referred to here in Oz and the US; nevertheless, a very powerful and moving exhibition that make you ask, why the hell were we (Australians) even there? A must see when you're next in Saigon.
