Nikon Remnant

Posted by
Stephen Skok (ASCOT VALE, Australia) on 16 January 2012 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

A Nikon F with Photomic head and 50mm f2 lens, donated by veteran Japanese reporter, Ishikawa Bunyo, to the war Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City. The camera is part of the museum's REQUIEM collection. Bunyo spent 1965 to 1968 in the South of Viet Nam covering the American War.

I have the same model, bought in 1972, but with black head; still have the 50mm, 28mm, 20mm & 135mm - all in working order except for the meter, which has given up the ghost.

This pic was shot with my brand spanking new Canon S100.
