Otway Fern

Posted by
Stephen Skok (ASCOT VALE, Australia) on 6 April 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

The day after the Apollo Bay Music Festival we returned home via the Otway ranges. The Otways are home to the western most rain forests in Oz and the Otway Fly, a 600 metre long 25 metre high elevated tree top walk through a magnificent stand of cool temperate rainforest of Myrtle Beech, Blackwood and Mountain Ash.

This pic is of a large tree fern at Maits Rest Walk, just outside of Apollo Bay, on a warm and beautiful autumn morning. Enjoy.
