Buddha for Sale

Buddha for sale at the Rajasthan Doors shop in Preston, Victoria, Oz. Amazing what you notice when you drop you son at the snowboard shop.
This was one of the first shots I took with a Canon 50mm L f1.2 lens, that I was playing with. A nice piece of glass, take a bit of getting used to, but alas, alak, not mine.
I'm not normally a fan of B&W, but thought that in this case it enhanced the elegant simplicity of the object. The soft light background - a painted brick factory wall - is the lens at work - not created in PhotoShop.
